The following is How to Clean Nose Piercings
- Clean the piercing every day using an antibacterial soap, or a sea salt and water solution. Remove any crusting that forms around the jewelry by gently cleaning with a cotton ball soaked in the salt water solution. Do not use iodized salt, which could be harmful to the healing skin tissue. Gently pat the area dry with a soft tissue or paper towel after cleaning.
- Apply a small amount of lavender oil to the area that has been pierced after cleaning to help promote healing.
- Avoid using alcohol, peroxide, betadine or tea tree oil to clean the pierced area. Although these products do disinfect they are harsh to your healing flesh.
- Do not remove your jewelry while your piercing is still healing. Always make sure that your hands are clean before touching the area.
